Savage Cat's Gently Cooked Chicken is a premium frozen cat food from a California-based brand that takes a minimally processed, species-appropriate approach to feline nutrition. Built around organic, free-range, certified humane chicken that is raised without antibiotics, this formula represents a meaningful step up from conventional kibble or canned options.

The recipe leads with organic whole chicken with bones and layers in nutrient-dense organ meats — including chicken hearts and liver — that reflect what cats would naturally seek out. Wild salmon oil contributes omega fatty acids, and added taurine supports the amino acid requirements unique to feline biology. The gently cooked preparation method preserves nutritional integrity while maintaining food safety standards.

This high-moisture, protein-forward formula is a strong fit for adult cats of all sizes, particularly those transitioning away from heavily processed diets or those with selective appetites. The small box contains seven individually portioned 3-ounce packets, totaling 21 ounces — a practical size for single-cat households or for cat parents exploring Savage Cat for the first time. Dog Dish carries this as a single size.
